About
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University. I received my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Odisha, in 2019.
My work uses machine learning and deep learning to detect intrusions and fraud in networks, databases, and financial systems. I am the Principal Investigator of HealthWatch, a Government of Odisha funded project on intrusion detection for Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) devices. I supervise PhD scholars, M.Sc. dissertations, and B.Tech projects.
Research interests: intrusion detection models; database and information security; machine learning and deep learning; pattern-matching and data analytics algorithms.
